I don’t have any 3rd party data to report: just the number of phone calls received, the number of days I’ve been working way-past-my-bedtime, the number of multiple offer situations, and the new-found urgency I can hear in the voices of my buyers and tenants – there is a noticeable uptick in market activity the last couple weeks.
I’m not the only one noticing the extra activity. Doug MacKay of Cushman & Wakefield summed it up well in a phone conversation last night; “It’s 7:30 PM on a Friday, on the hottest day of the year . . . and I’m still in the office. We’re gearing up for a busy fall.”
